The Maison Margiela Residences is the world's first residential project from French brand Maison Margiela. It is an exclusive collaboration with Dubai-based Alta Real Estate Development, known for its non-trivial spatial concepts and subtle understanding of cultural context. The complex is located on the eastern arch of Palm Jumeirah, one of the most prestigious and recognisable addresses in the emirate. The 14-storey tower resembles a seashell in shape and blends seamlessly into the island's landscape, offering panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf, Atlantis The Royal, Burj Al Arab and the legendary Dubai skyline.
The project comprises just 25 residences, emphasising their collectible nature and making ownership a distinct privilege. The interiors were designed in collaboration with the brand's Parisian atelier. Materials and shapes were chosen with reference to the House's archive codes, including travertine, marmorino, matte metal and soft textile surfaces. The furniture was created by Maison Margiela architects in partnership with Renzo Rosso and Carlo Colombo. The organic forms of the sofas, lamps and sculptural tables reflect the brand's aesthetic and its philosophy of ‘quiet luxury’.
The apartments at The Maison Margiela Residences on Palm Jumeirah are designed as personal mini-worlds. The bathrooms are crafted in light stone and bronze metal, while the kitchens feature travertine islands and lighting that creates a soft, diffused effect.
